Ed Maioriello, member of the Oconee Rivers Audubon Society, will be leading us on this early morning walk along the North Oconee River. The hike will lead us through beautiful mesic sloped forests, bottomland hardwood forests, and sustainably managed hay fields to observe migratory bird species passing through Georgia, on their way south for the year. This is a diverse 60-acre property with a beautiful habitat along the river.
