We will be touring bottomland hardwood and mesic hardwood forests and seepy springs on an easement we just completed last year in Oconee County. For those hikers who would like to see river frontage, expect some off-trail hiking along a steep slope. The meeting point for this hike is approximately 20 minutes from Athens.
